Back in 2016 Climecon joined forces with a pioneering interior architect, Teemu Saukkonen and asked “How should a wall-mounted supply air diffuser look like?”

We instructed the design professional to innovate a diffuser purely from design perspective – leaving us with the mission to transform the design into a high-performing ventilation device.

A truly new concept of a product was born combining two distinct fields of expertise, interior architecture and ventilation.

On our behalf, the minimum requirements for the product development were to achieve class 1 measurement accuracy, easy installation and adjustment, quiet and draught-free air distribution in addition to highly adaptable throw-pattern that can be re-adjusted throughout the entire product life-cycle.

After numerous prototypes, testing, air flow simulations and conquering obstacles that at times seemed impossible, an incredible diffuser was created. VIVA is the result of highly finished details combined with the original, timeless design that was the starting point of the entire journey.
